Hot off the Presses! Our Collector's 2023 Zine Issue
Our once a week newsletter includes highlights of our weekly reporting plus bonus content.
Thanks to former Our Town Reno reporter Kingkini Sengupta we were able to have our yearly zine printed out and published as a collector’s item in a limited first-run edition.
Thanks to others we were able to pay the artist and author a small stipend for her amazing work.
We will do a zine kickoff distribution launch with Sierra Stevens on Nov. 16th 5-7 p.m. at the Radical Cat Cafe on Wells Ave where you can meet her and other current and former Our Town Reno reporters to discuss our hyperlocal multimedia and social media collective and discuss together where we go from here.
This year’s zine is our best yet — an autobiographical conceptual art and essay plunge reflecting local hardships with rays of hope, uniquely designed and written.
