While many voters have already sent their ballots in ahead of the June 14th primary voting day, mayoral candidate William Mantle is appealing a ruling that allowed councilwoman Jenny Brekhus to pursue her campaign for Reno’s top elected seat. Mantle said he was “flabbergasted” by the early May decision by Washoe County Second Judicial Court Judge Connie Steinheimer, which is why he decided to file the appeal.
